This week’s theme “50 steps from your door.”
This was technically 52 steps. Does it still count?

Not exactly a “sport” but it’s about as athletic I get, unless you count moving furniture around.
This was taken at the last minute because I spent a week trying to figure out something more creative.
I’m behind in the 52 1/2 weeks; it’s been a ridiculously busy couple of weeks and I’m finally trying to catch up.
Bought some new chairs this week. Love them. They are quite, ummm… fragrant. I’m ready for the leather smell to fade.
(This week’s theme is fragrance.)
This week’s theme is depth of field, something I play with pretty regularly.
Decorating eggs with Jacques… and I didn’t even control all that much.
I’m trying to decide between this and another for the 52 1/2. I think I’m leaning toward this one.
I spent the week trying to figure out what I could do on this week’s challenge – Fear. I came up with nothing. So, here is my interpretation of ‘fear of rejection.’
This week’s song is “NYC” by Interpol.
This week’s theme is inspirational quote… my quote:
“Take care of the earth and she will take care of you.” – Author unknown.
Today Earth Hour is taking place. 830p local time wherever you live. Conserve.
This week’s song is “Electric Storm” by U2.
We’ve been on holiday in Texas for over a week now. I’ve hardly even had time to photograph anything. Actually, that’s more out of laziness than anything.
We went boating today. I noticed the red stripe as I was climbing aboard and ran back to get my camera.
This week’s song is “Down By The Water” by PJ Harvey, Gosh… I love that song.
I had it stuck in my head that the theme of the week was red, but I was a week early. So I guess I’ll have 2 weeks red photos. C’est la vie.
Taken at my step-sister’s wedding.
This week’s song is “Flowers in the Window” by Travis.
I’m so frustrated at how the colors look in Firefox. So, look at it in Safari if you can. I’ve converted the color profile and everything, but it still doesn’t look right.
Anyhooo… this is week # 10 project 52 1/2. The theme this week is pattern. These are Jacques’ Dado Cubes. He loves these. Often puts them on his arms & legs and pretends to be a robot.
This week’s song is “Rainbow Connection” – by Kermit the Frog. My personal fave is the duet with Debbie Harry.
Ok, the title is probably tacky… but when I thought about the food I have been wanting recently, it’s been a salad. How many songs about salad can you think of off the top of your head?
So, here’s my salad – sprouts, greens, avocado, dried cranberries, blue cheese & boiled egg. Puts me in the mood for Spring, as does the Bob Marley song that inspired the shot.
